Marion and Peter are a Dutch couple who, for thirteen years, pursued a dream: building a farm in Pedrógão Grande. However, in 2017, the major wildfire that broke out in the interior of Portugal devastated their land and ruined their home. With no resources to remedy the catastrophe and abandoned by the government and authorities in a desolate village, Marion and Peter try to resurrect their property from the ashes while rethinking the meaning of their lives, at an age when it seems there is no longer time or strength to start over.
