The Spanish government announces a referendum to approve an Artificial Intelligence (THENTE) system in the Administration of Justice, which promises to automate and depoliticise justice, effectively replacing judges in all courts across the country.

The referendum sparks a fierce election campaign, pitting the Government, in alliance with the tech company that created the system, against the judiciary, which defends the human nature of justice. Carmen Costa, a renowned judge, is invited to work on the development of the THENTE project, but the sudden disappearance of Alicia Kóvack, the creator of the system, raises her suspicions to the point where she begins to uncover the tip of the iceberg of a conspiracy aimed at controlling an entire country through justice.
